Dr. Eldo E. Frezza, MD, MBA, FACS

DIMMIT AND ZAVALA COUNTIES — Dimmit Regional Hospital (DRH) is pleased to announce that Dr. Eldo E. Frezza, MD, MBA, FACS has joined its medical staff as a general surgeon, effective April 1, 2026.

Dr. Frezza brings over 30 years of surgical experience, with specialized expertise in advanced laparoscopic, hepatobiliary, minimally invasive, and acute care surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Padua School of Medicine and completed fellowships in the United States and London. He is Board Certified by the American College of Surgeons and holds an MBA in Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University. He has served as Chief of Surgery and Professor of Surgery at leading institutions across Texas, California, and Tennessee.
