Certified Nurse Aide/Clerk (Emergency Room) - PRN - Emergency Room
Location: Carrizo Springs, Texas
Dimmit Regional Hospital is located in South Texas in the city of Carrizo Springs, County of Dimmit. DRH is a 25 bed licensed critical access hospital.
Job Summary:
Provides administrative, clerical and clinical support for patients of all age groups and provides basic patient care. This position demonstrates basic knowledge skills necessary to take patient vitals, communicate appropriately and carry out delegated nursing assistant level tasks for assigned patient populations, assisting in the delivery of patient care and services under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Assists and performs vital signs and other clinical procedures and prepares instruments under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Supervised by the Emergency Room Department Supervisor.
Professional Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
●Successful completion and certification in Nurse Aide, or Emergency Medical Technician required.
●Current BLS for healthcare professionals required.
●Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience preferred.
●Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.
●Basic computer knowledge.
●Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
