Licensed Vocational Nurse (Emergency Room) - Full Time Day Shift - Emergency Room
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care for all age groups under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Performs general nursing duties in all departments with supervision by a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Supervised by Chief Nursing Officer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
●Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse Licensure required.
●Current BLS for healthcare professionals required at time of hire.
●Must have PALS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
●Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
●Basic computer knowledge.
