Licensed Vocational Nurse (Med/Surg) - Full Time - Medical Surgical
Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting that meets the Psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care for all age groups under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.
Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team. Supervised by the Medical Surgical Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
●Active Texas LVN License required.
●Current BLS for healthcare professionals.
●PALS within 6 months of hire.
●Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
●Basic computer knowledge.
